BIZ - Any Verotel 'Tickets Club' experts in the house?
 

I'm wondering if its possible to have a second 'site' (folder) set up, so as when anyone pays for three days access to another of my 'sites' (folders) they also get added for three days to this secondary folder, with the same user / pass combo?

Basically, I want to put a 'free' video download in this second folder - But its only free, if you pay to access any of my other 20+ folders.

The 'clumsy' (but easy) way to do it, would be to upload the free vid to each individual folder, and add a link on the index page of each folder.

But when I want to change the free video to a diff free video, I would need to re-up the new vid to all the 20+ folders. Simple, but time consuming.

If I however have another folder called free, and simply have a link to the index page of free, within the index pages of each of the other folders, I only need to change the vid in one folder... But I would need access to that one folder to be in sync with every other folders membership lists...

So Question 1) Does that make sense?
Question 2) Is there a simple way to do this, or would I be better off with the multiple uploads of the free vid?
Question 3) Is there another better way to do this, (Without changing billers) that I am missing?

You would make the script update this folders users... and make the cancellation script do the same.

I dunno about expert, but I have used them the better part of a decade. VRock on da case.

couildn't you run a cron job to sync the password folders .. every 5 minutes or so ...

Thankyou. Thats exactly what I mean, but i was unable to put it quite so succinctly.

If I approach verotel, using that terminology, is it something that they can offer?

Can it be put in place once, (By Verotel) and then all future new main folders get added automatically?

Or would this need to be a third party script solution, that I would need to update myself?
