Almost 3 months of Vacation and not 1 day off for my kid
 

We spent this entire summer in our place in Cancun and had a myriad of relatives visiting (of course), so I took a few days off to spend time with them.

But I just realized that out of the almost 3 months that my son had off school I haven't taken 1 single day just for him. I'm changing that, though! I'm taking tomorrow and Friday off and taking him to a hotel at the beach so he can have a mini vacation with Mommy and Daddy. He's just 5 years old, but I think he'll appreciate it :)

Very nice to hear D, spending time with the family clears your mind and makes you realize why you work so hard every day. My little one starts school in one week from today. We spent a ton of time together this summer and went on several vacations. So all in all it was a great summer. He has to be on the bus at 6:00 am so he will have to get use to that. I get up at 5am everyday so it will be the same for me. Have fun with the family and try and relax and enjoy your life :)

thanks, Sarah! It's been crazy around here this summer and he has been so patient, my poor little guy! I hope to make it up to him for that; I already booked the hotel and showed him some photos and he's sooo excited!!!!

You guys will have a blast :) Does he enjoy the water yet? I know by 5 Seth LOVED the water. You were telling me before you have a great time in living in Cancun. Shoot me some rates when you have time and no rush. I'm looking to plan a vacation to Mexico hopefully the middle of next year. I have been looking around for resorts and things to do while we are there. It's Mexico or a Disney cruise. Not sure what we will do yet.
