The nominated porn stars will be competing in categories such as Most Popular Porn Star, MILF of the Year, Most Luscious Latina, Social Network Sensation, Best Porn Star Website, Fan Favorite, Contract Star of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, MVP, Performer of the Year, Adult Industry Blog of the Year and Publicist of the Year.

haven't heard of Fame Registry either, but it's funny how fast time flies. It seems like it was yesterday when Gina Lynn started out in the biz.

I've always thought Gina Lynn was just so amazingly beautiful and I was always surprised she wasn't snapped up with a contract by someone early on.

It's really not a voting content kind of thing - it's just announcing who is the most popular in certain categories based on the data collected from the previous year.

Each month we do a month to month update and at the end of each year, there are the big winners if you will. Sort of the who is the hottest for all of 2009 or all of 2010, etc.

Okay so long story short, I had to pick SOME age to define a MILF so I had a chat with people on Twitter about it. I know in our industry we tend to cast like 20 year olds as MILFs in movies but I wanted to be more realistic about it. Yes, I realize a 22 year old can have children and as such technically be a "MILF" but well LOL.

So anywho like I said, I talked to others on Twitter and pretty much everyone decided they don't consider anyone under 30 a true MILF so that is where I came up with that.

So for the Fame Registry MILF award the cut off is 30. Well at least for the the current awards. I didn't switch it until 2010 to 35.

The winner of this award (MILF of the Year) is based on the overall popularity of the porn star but in this particular category, she must be a MILF / Cougar which means at the very least she must be over 30 years of age during the qualifying year. The nominees for 2009 are ...... (winner to be announced on August 30th)

As far as the person not listed .... well - just ask. It really is that easy. I add porn stars all the time. I'm currently tracking something like 182 porn stars. No doubt I missed 1, 2 or 20 or maybe even 100s that in time I do hope to add.

So to speed that up, bring yourself to my attention.

Sometimes it's not even them. There is one particular agency in our business who I won't name but is out of LA who encourages the girls to do such a thing. Then you get girls like Hanna Hilton who are 30+ who then have a reported age of 19 to 24.

You may want to look a little farther out than the usual suspects in porn valley to make sure you are drawing fans of girls with huge fan bases that don't shoot a lot for other companies but prefer to make money for themselves. :pimp

I just started looking into adding some web girls but to be honest I worry about doing that because I know it's hard to compete with some of the more well established girls. Those who are in DVD movies tend to get far more publicity than those who aren't.

I don't know. I guess we can always give it a try and see how it goes. :)

You need to understand that FANS don't read AVN. So all that "publicity" don't mean diddly squat in sales. Girls like Lisa Sparxxx and Kelly Madison and Rachel Aziani and Celeste Fox and Brittany Love and many others have far bigger recognition than you might think.

At this years AVN awards show I was standing in the Palms casino when my buddy Shane Diesel walked in with the very hot Sarah Jay. They walked right through the crowd with nobody talking to them. They came over to us and we all started talking...but we kept getting interrupted by guys wanting to take pictures with Claudia-Marie

And we didn't even attend the AVN awards...hell some of the biggest names in porn right now are never even mentioned at those kinds of things because they choose to make money for THEMSELVES like we do and not have our starlets shoot for a couple of grand and that's it.

People just don't buy dvd's the way they did 10 or 15 years ago. And they don't read AVN....only industry people do.

Do yourself a favor and promote some of the real "porn stars" of the new age...the internet.
