Why don't girls understand Mystery Science Theatre 3000?

Today is Sunday, and ALL I wanted to do today was to sit and watch Mystery Science Theatre 3000 which was being re-run on the Space channel. I don't want to work, I don't want to think. I just want to watch MST3K and laugh at the dumb jokes. Long story short, I didn't get to watch it. Why. WHY I ask?

pffft, babes don't get it because they are programmed to actually listen and try to follow the p[lot of a movie.....and on MST3K that is just stoopid! The show is hilarious, my sons and I often get trapped into watching something horrible on tv and the best way to deal with it is to talk over and joke about the movie as much as possible... it annoys my wife who...for some ungodly reason....will say the show sucks but still try and follow it... amazing

Never seen it before myself. I checked out a trailer and I don't recall ever seeing it on tv either. But then again, I was more into cartoons.

Not only do I get it (and have since it came on the air) but I went to an all night MST3k marathon in London last year.

I love that show. While I was at my parents last week my Dad and I watched a bunch of episodes. It had been years since I watched it.

Obviously you have not figured out how to plan ahead with these sorts of things, i.e. doing something nice for your wife that keeps her busy during the hours when there is something that you want to do by yourself.

I just got very excited, until I found out I don't get the Science channel.

In this industry, chicks get it. But some guys don't.

It's not a chick thing. It's genetic. I call it the 3-S gene, or Three Stooges syndrome.

Either they get it, or they don't... not their fault.
