Just had an Adult Check Gold moment. Mainstream version.
 

I just had a mainstream site experience that reminded me of this :

I remember back in the day when I wanted to build an Adult Check Gold site.
I bought around $800 of content and built a site to submit.

I thought the site looked decent, not really great, but for sure it would be accepted.
So I submitted and waited and received a rejection notice.

The reason for the rejection was "Did not use graphical buttons on links".

In other words I needed to open photoshop and create a jpg or gif for each link
on the website.

So I created all the buttons and resubmitted the site.
I was confident this time and waited for approval.

No dice! Rejected again!

This time the notice said "We have seen this content too many times already".

I responded, "why didn't you tell me this the first time you checked the site".

At that point I was like fuck!!!! I just spent $800 and a lot of work for nothing!

So I took the content and made a pay site with it and eventually made around $25k
before I shut the site down.

I shut down because I became afraid of charge backs because in those days it
was too hard to buy the content I needed(interracial) and the site was never
updated enough.


So thanks Adult Check Gold approval dude, without you I wouldn't have made shit.

It's amazing how good things can come out of bad things. In 2008 when ProAdult decided they were not going to pay any of their webmasters anymore I ended up having to rush and find a new program to have my sites affiliated with. I can say today, that was the best thing that could have happened.

Yep, it's just a sign for you to do better when these things happen.
