Everyone is entitled to their opinion Wizzo. :) and look I have not seen that much energy and effort go in to an adult movie trailer for the last 5 years so to me this is the "MOST" Amazing thing I have seen in a long time. There that is more of a fair statement. :)

For production value it looks great and the sex scenes look very hot.

Not "shutting down" by itself. I meant I "shut it down" on purpose because there was no porn, just bad acting. Maybe there was some porn further in, but I didn't watch beyond 1/3rd of it. I would offer a guess that a surfer with his dick in his hand would do the same.

first off, congratulations on your new position and best of luck.

as for the trailer, the quality looks great. the only problem I have with it is you don't see any porn action until over 1 minute in, which means you have to watch the acting...which is not so strong. But thats just me, and like I said, the quality is great.

Nice! Are you guys shooting actual film? Or more likely high end 24P digital?
Love the "film" look one way or another. Editing was top notch pro as well.

Actually feels "fresh" since me and a thousand other guys are shooting and editing "amateur" style. This kinda production was the way it was for a while until the amateur "gonzo" kind of shooting took over.

Yeah, that took me a few seconds to find too. A surfer wouldn't wait that long. Needs to be a flash vid player in the middle of the page

I really liked it. Not the best trailer ever, but very nice anyway, the sole fact of doing something different and with that level of quality deserves some praise. Plus, IMHO, the lack of porn makes it stand better. I mean, you see the scenes, you see those girls and you really want to know what's going to happen (hence sell the movie). Really nice to see someone going out of everyday's gonzo, really don't understand those that criticize this because it's somehow unique, as if this industry needs more of the same old shit.

(and yes, it looks like Flashpoint only that without Jenna Jameson :winkwink:)

ah, I forgot to mention this as well. I really can't understand why you're using shockwave, I had to install it and will probably uninstall it in minutes since it has a lot of conflicts with all the crap that tries to install. You really should go with the global tech trend, not for the guy who uses Mac. I admit being "elite" is... well, "elite". But I assume you want to sell, not looking "cool". Anyway, just my :2 cents:

You can make something unique and different every day of the week. There's a reason the "same ol' shit" is so prevalent. It works. This isn't Premiere Night on the Red Carpet... it's a porn site. Don't try to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse.

The fact that it starts out in mainstream movie style means your surfer must "invest" in watching it. Porn surfers just want to bust a nut, not follow the acting prowess of a cum dumpster. :2 cents:

Great "mainstream" looking trailer! I think this type of production would do well with "couples". Husband/wife or bf/gf that watch porn together.

I think it looks great, the production quality is high and although the story sounds defacto-standard it's still got appeal.

Plus Katsuni is fucking hot and if she doesn't sell it then I don't know what else will. Besides trannies of course. :)

You are 100% on the money that is a bulk of why buys DVD's from us as well as subscribes to the sites. And in a depressed economy people stay at home more which is why I think we are seeing such an increase in our Online sign ups and DVD's sales. Inexpensive home based entertainment that you can share with your significant other and get laid.

That makes more sense. I retract everything I said in here then. Makes sense for a DVD release, because those folks will be "invested" in watching more than just money-shots. :thumbsup

well, that's your point of view and I respect it. I admit gonzo had its moment, esp when it had a "reality" vibe, but now isn't exactly "working", in any case I'd say the total opposite. Trends change, and the gonzo trend is in agony, the only reason people still shoot it is because it's cheaper, nothing else. Fucking is fucking, but if you have something else, then it's added value. What can I say, I bought a nice home thanks to high production values.

Just so you understand, I know those girls will fuck, it's a fucking porn movie. However, when I see the scene of that girl in black with the fishnets and high heels and the high class look, I can only think of "will they ruin the scene and make her go nude or will hey fuck her dressed as she is?" I really want to know and SEE that, so the trailer is selling. In a gonzo clip, I know some random chick will be banged, everything will be exactly the same as in at least 10000 "different" clips (I'm not exaggerating). So, the process of buying will be random, it will be the same for me to buy site A, site B or site C or site Z5984 since they'll have EXACTLY the same content, only changing the girls (if I'm lucky). And if the surfer thinks that for a second, he'll probably go to download the movie (or a very similar one) from a tube site. After all, there are no differences!

Well, I was giving it analysis from a purely standalone Internet website product only, which I've already been corrected on. I think it's a good approach for a "bonus/feature/extra" of a DVD release though. I wasn't aware of what this was. I didn't look at the rest of the website or I would've known. The thread title focused on the trailer, so that's all I looked at. I'm used to it working the other way around. DVDs spun off existing websites. My mistake.

This comes from doing 200 things at once and not giving full attention to each one. Autopilot. ;)

Visually it looks good, however aside from having a firefighter theme, I really didn't get what the plot is about.

While the editing was tight, whenever there was dialogue, it sounded rather stilted.

That was an awesome trailer. At first it looked like an actual hollywood movie production (and my dumb ass thought it was) with female porn stars playing the female roles until I recognized one of the male talents (no homo).

Must have cost some money to put that together but it looks like the end product was worth it.

We have several big budget movies every year this was just one of them. DP is really the only company around still doing movies like this but our customers are loyal and as long as they keep buying the stuff we will keep making it!

Nicely done. I actually like it. Looks more like a short film you would see on Showtime rather than a trailer. Get rid of the real fucking and you may get it picked up.

I bet the real firemen that let you shoot at their location were happy.
