Oak Island Money Pit Mystery [Video]

I love conspiracy stuff, aliens, mysteries and so on. (tinfoil hat on!) I've been watching Ancient aliens (episode 4) and this is pretty fucking cool. I wonder how the fuck they built this thing and what's hidden down there...

Sinkhole

Suggestions that the pit is a natural phenomenon, specifically a sinkhole or debris in a fault, date to at least 1911.[21][22][23][24] There are numerous sinkholes on the mainland near the island, together with underground caves (to which the apparent booby traps are attributed).

love the mystery, but its probably a golden statue of christ or something down at the bottom..or more likely...somewhere hidden in the middle

The Money Pit could very well e a natural feature which was utilized to conceal whatever is at the bottom and there is something there but no one knows just waht.

The timber layers and cocoanut matting which were found at 10 ft intervals definitely prove the work of Man and the small bit of gold chain which came up during one of the test drills tells us that there is at least some gold down there. Actually, the original location of the Money Pit has been lost, so current diggnings are on the periphery of the suspected location of the original. I think soon the mystery will be resolved due to the use of modern digging and pumping techniques and ground penetrating radar may well give a much better idea of just what is there.

No, these discoveries were made long before there was really any sort of tourist trade but need to be carefully scrutinized and realisitically interpreted. Good website on the matter here:

Yes, could be. But I want it to be something more interesting than that. :1orglaugh

That's pretty interesting stuff there, I love that kind of stuff myself. Let's all grab our shovels and go start digging, ha ha.
