5 Documented UFO Encounters That Might Creep You The Hell OUT!

http://www.cracked.com/article_18690...nd-creepy.html

A few of these i had never heard of and they are amazing, but the last one takes the cake-

an excerpt-
"The Valentich Case-October 21, 1978, a Cessna 182 light aircraft piloted by Australian Frederick Valentich disappeared right the fuck out of thin air.

In his final words with Melbourne Air Traffic Control, which can be read in its creepy-ass entirety here, Valentich described being followed by a UFO:

Valentich: Melbourne, this is Delta Sierra Juliet. Is there any known traffic below five thousand?
Melbourne: No known traffic.
Valentich: I am... seems to be a large aircraft below five thousand.
Melbourne: What type of aircraft is it?
Valentich: I cannot affirm. It is four bright... it seems to me like landing lights.

Like Gorman, Valentich claimed the aircraft was intentionally buzzing him, zipping past, getting too close and going incredibly fast. At one point Valentich said the aircraft stopped in mid-air, and he orbited around it to get a good look:

Valentich: It's got a green light and sort of metallic like... it's all shiny on the outside... ... it just vanished...

Later:

Valentich: Ah... Melbourne that strange aircraft is hovering on top of me again... (two seconds open microphone)... it is hovering and it's not an aircraft...

i liked the ones reported by mexican military jet pilotes ... extreme velocity and impossible manouvers (at least if man-made) of light blimps ... that was funny :)

:1orglaugh definitely an interesting story right out of a 30's pulp novel! damn, the story in this thread is a verified story, completely documented so obviously something happened to this guy and his plane. but then someone has to make a bloody b-movie plot about aliens and hauling air to another planet!:1orglaugh

That one was really weak. The dude either got vertigo and couldnt tell up from down (very easy to do, happens to pilots often, ask jfk jr) or he staged it. He was known to be a ufo enthusiast anyways.

my grandfather who was an atheist saw a huge ball of light one night while smoking on the balkony
They lived up high on the 15th floor and to the left between the other two high rises you could see one the stadiums that had this large parking lot. He said he saw a massive ball of fire lower itself down and hover for a period of time over the stadium parking lot then disappear. Other people in the neighborhood also saw it.

eh, problem with that is that many people on the ground saw the same craft during that time- documented reports.

I love words like "documented" and "verified" in tales like this.

But some people believe in Jebers, so I spose if you want to believe that aliens exist and come here that's cool.

Caligari 08-12-2010 07:32 AM

Considering the vast size of the universe and it's inhabitable planets, it is ludicrous to think that "aliens" do not exist.

It is an unfortunate reality that in this day and age of manufactured banality many plebes still believe that the sky is blue and the grass is green and humans on a tiny planet in the middle of nowhere are actually at the center of it all.

And many plebeians think that someone of an advanced intelligence and technology is going to come here, fly around middle America for a bit and startle some slack-jawed yokels, then fuck off home giggling.

but did you ever think that those slack jawed yokels were somehow superior for ass probing? its quite possible aliens discovered that through years of back home inbreeding a yokel's ass yielded a specific genetic mutation more desirable to probe.

i'm just sayin...
