Pretty crazy stuff. She was getting my mail from me while I was away last week. I stopped over to pick it up and she had 3 girls from the Ukraine in her kitchen washing dishes. She introduced them to me and told me the entire story of what happened while I was gone. The news crews have been outside and in and out of her house the last couple days. The girls are staying with her until they leave in September.

I just want to say that I worked with these girls, from day one they were offered days off and they REFUSED to take them. They lived in one bedroom but there are THREE beds in that room, and they had their own bathroom. They came here to work, not have a bunch of fun. I picked them and the manager up EVERY morning, they were always slacking and never ready to go when I got there. I don't have anything against these girls, I just think if they are going to tell the story then they need to tell the truth as well.

Looks like the news just left her house again. Wonder if it will go to the national news? I talked to her today and she has been calling lawers all day. She even said she spoke to Hilary Clinton haha. My neihbor is pretty funny and caring. Be interesting to see what pans out. The girls have still not been paid.

That sucks. At least with your neighbor's help they hopefully won't be going home and talking about how evil Americans are. I hope they get paid.

"They were forced to work more than 80 hours a week." - that's quite unfortunate. Children should not be forced into labour. However, they should understand the benefits of work.

Thanks we are cooking out tomorrow and getting a slip and slide for the girls and my son to chill on. I'm smoking some salmon They are still waiting to get paid and just relaxing before going home next month. This little island has never seen this drama.
