even for US players?

gaffg 08-10-2010 05:26 AM

as long as UIGEA bill still exists I don't think PayPal will take US players.

Desperate times call for drastic measures

gaffg 08-10-2010 06:07 AM

PayPal lost out on most likely $500 million per year from leaving the US markets for gambling

sponsorpimp 08-10-2010 07:27 AM

Yep noticed that, times are changing.

Paypal is doing gambling. Very interesting.

V_RocKs 08-10-2010 01:11 PM

They lost more than $500 million.... that number would have made sense back in 2005... now it's more like 1.5 billion because of the ease of use would have meant they'd have 80% of the transactions market.

Epassporte lost a lot of cash too... Sad...

Would love to see that bill go out the window.

Paypal is so sketchy on their policies. Don't expect it to last. :2 cents:

Paypal flip flops so much that I don't want to rely on them to make money.

Unfortunately I agree. As I have read on boards, sometimes they switch policy and even though you had their official "yes" previously, with new TOS they simply shut your account down without warning.

Yep. But recent moves in Congress are looking very positive for legalization.

gaffg 08-10-2010 07:52 PM

I think it's over a billion too but when Neteller was pulling in $700 million + at one point it tells you what PayPal could have been doing
