I agree 100%. The only thing that makes me want to see that remake is the fact that the girl is hot and I want to see her naked.
The shock of the original is gone, as Howdy said, it's lacking the grittiness, and is it just be or does she look comical when she's on the attack? Camille Keaton had that role nailed, this chick can't play the character like she did. This girl looks like she's forcing herself to appear vengeful and angry. Camille's character did it out of self-presveration, and true, bitter revenge. This remake just won't compare to the original.
I do get a kick out of how the reference the alternate title of the original at the end of the trailer.
