I hope you are enjoying life

Seriously. Such a waste if you are not. :2 cents:

I am indeed. Things are clipping away on all cylinders right now. Not a care in the world.

I simply wish I had more time to work in a nice 2 week vacation. Unplugged from the world.

What's the purpose of even living if you're not enjoying your time here? Even someone who thinks they have the most pathetic life should find joy somewhere within.

Well...because of the mind numbing pain I suffer with 24/7...it is difficult to enjoy anything...but I try. I am...to some extent...beginning to vicariously live life through you. You do get around. :thumbsup

Not that I don't regret a few things..

73 and still kicking ...

I'm 73 and still trying my best to enjoy life to its fullest. Lots of body pain but thanks to Percocet can keep it somewhere under control. :winkwink:

Trying my best to do things I like to do. Example: I love golfing. Beat this one: Yesterday by partner and I golfed 18 holes at 7AM ... got removed from the course because of a huge golf outing ... came back to the course at 2PM ... and guess what ... we shot another 36 holes. That's 54 holes in one day. Little sore today ... but Percocet helps keep it under control. Got a 7AM tee time this morning. See if I can beat my low 81 game from yesterday. Other 2 games were 89/94. Usually shoot in the mid 80's which isn't too bad for my age.

So, as baddog says ... enjoy it while you are here. :thumbsup

When do you leave for Sturgis? Is your son making the run with you?

Thanks for the cheap greeting card...

BlackCrayon 08-08-2010 01:54 PM

most people waste their lives. unless you are rich, the majority are spending their lives doing something that don't really care for, or would rather be doing something else at least. as much as i like what i do, i would much rather be sitting on a beach than behind a computer.

I do :)

That is the advantage of our line of work. A laptop and a wireless card lets you sit on the beach.

there are no good beaches where i live currently :( i did however to get spend almost 3 weeks on lake erie, which has a great beach although i couldn't escape work. i find it very hard working outside though as i can barely see the screen. is there any solution to this? regardless i've found money a constant stress through life and the lack of it at times has made it difficult to enjoy the smaller things.

Yeah, the sun on the screen can be a problem at times . . . . I find facing the monitor north gives me a [more] neutral sky, thus less glare.

You just stated the most basic daily issues of the entire universe for all species. I don't think there is an easy way for anybody. Maybe nature makes us all fight daily for our survival and the goal is simple: offspring. It's the circle of life like in the Disney movie.

More people need to realize you do not need to be wealthy to live the lifestyle you want to live... just creative.

there are always options to enjoy life more, and drop the stress level. there is so much more out there beyond a computer screen...

FeelMyTube 08-08-2010 04:20 PM
