- you can make it more attractive by lowering the prices
- or you can try to squeeze out more money from the few who still come

AWE gave a lot of free badges this year. They didn't even charge me for parking at the hotel parking lot tonight for some strange reason. I saw a lot of familiar faces in the lobby this evening and a few new ones. Everyone seemed very business focused.Comment

I didn't attend the meet market, but at the opening party last night and in the hotel lobby I saw mostly the same internet porn players, billing companies & affiliate programs as recent Internext, Phoenix Forum and similar shows.
If you as an attendee cannot figure out a way to generate business to recoup the cost of the badge and make $500 or $1000 from the show at a minumum, you aren't trying very hard. In my case as a producer I made handshake deals to sell two sets of non-exclusive Ex-GF content for $500 each last night; worked a deal to broadcast my new movies on tv; and have other meetings set today and tomorrow to shoot exclusive content for another program and also to do live broadcasting of my shoots via one or more of the live cam networks. Could I have made any of these deals with email and icq? Perhaps some of them.
