i've sold a few, but way more people signing up for it than buying it so far. And right now if they are sold out i am assuming the people signing up are getting "We will let you know when in stock" notices, so i'm hoping they get some in quickly.

Sounds like a marketing ploy to me. "They are so great we sold every unit" translates to "We haven't sold a single unit so far, what will we do now?"
