Which GFY'ers really know the PHONE SEX side of this business?
 

I'm working on something and need to learn the business, sharpish.

I need to know:

- who the biggest players, who is behind the largest programs
- most popular software used
- biggest sites
- industry boards for them specifically?

That should do for starters.

Who here knows the business inside out and backwards, and willing to knowledge share / Consult?

People still use phone sex? I thought the internet killed that.

You'd be surprised :) Cam hoes did largely dessimate the industry by all accounts, but there's still plenty of bread on the table (ok, some crumbs to be had).

From what I've researched, it seems mainly a mass free for all with tens of thousands of operators all chucking up their amateurish 2001 style sites, directly hooked up with the phone company for a paid line service.

There aren't that many big sites which look like real business - there's a few places like nite flirt, but that's about it.

Hey Jerry I was just in Saginaw :)

Did you get a chance to see Beautiful Downtown Saginaw. Used to be nice, clean, safe and a shop-a-holics dream in the 40's and 50's. Now it's a dump with tons of boarded up storefronts, etc. :Oh crap

They do have several classy Golf courses here though.

I actually live in Bridgeport ... small burb on the south side on I-75. Pretty clean and safe here so far. Moved here in mid-60's when I quit playing trumpet in Big Bands all over hells creation.
