Fuck George Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld....those assholes left this country much worse condition than they found it.

A good example is cursive handwriting is no longer taught in our public schools here in Austin. A teacher may teach it if they choose to do so; but, it is not required and many graduates cant read the notes on my refrigerator, the Constitution or the Bill of Rights.

I don't think they have stopped teaching it altogether. However, my step-son going into grade 6 expressed to me that he was concerned that he would have to learn cursive this year. I was shocked to find out that he didn't already know it! In Canada that is a 4th grade unit.
