Stolen content host site ... has a cry over my DMCA?
Sent standard DMCA for these images:
http://lookpic.com/i/536/FuTxNVm5.jpeg http://lookpic.com/i/536/FuTxNVm5.jpeg Also included this line: NOTE : UNLESS ALL IMAGES ARE REMOVED AND THIS USER BANNED, WE WILL CONTACT PAYPAL TO INFORM THEM OF YOUR BREAKING OF THEIR TERMS OF SERVICE BY SELLING PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIAL. Reply was a bit surprising .... "[email protected] So? you are warning me ? I would help you and remove the images if you kindly requested but you are warning me. So Go Fuck your self with your DMCA dudes. got it ? FUCK YOU ! Regards David Sims" Anyone able to find out anything more about this tit ... assuming it's not THE great Dave Sim of Cerebus fame. |
those guys are playing with luck ... once they step on shap or some other guy who has no problem to make a lawsuit and he will be fucking off himself :)
|
their site is slow as fuck
|
It hurts but sometimes it's better to ask nicely first. Leave the threats for a later followup if they don't act.
Looks like the domain in the OP is outside the USA anyway... |
So tell Paypal and see how for it gets you.
|
do you really can make paypal look at that, if not false warning is not good stuff

Not many people respond well to threats on a first contact. |

I've dealt with them numerous times. Maybe you went about it the wrong way? |

Any DMCA is a threat. While I agree that it usually is better to just send the DMCA, if you do see some other leverage to let them know that you are serious, it can count. Every other company I sent similar emails to responded by removing the content faster, than just with a DMCA. |
Oh ... he's going to sue me ...
"Go Fuck Your Self with your porn images ;) and fuck your paypal and DMCA ! I care about no one, if you are living in the US, then let me know which state, i will come there and sue your ass !" |

I don't think anyone here is saying you're overreacting.
All I'm saying is a little finesse in your first contact to the guy may have gotten you a lot farther than openly threatening him about his paypal account. That's all. Now it looks like he's gone full retard on you. Someone should have told him never go full retard. :D Personally if I were you I'd forget trying to reason with the idiot and just have a go at his upstream providers. I'd recommend not openly threatening them on the first shot either. |
owns speed.cd too
|
Burn them alive anywhere you can.

You are being too kind
By this time I'd be going after his paypal accounts, upstream hosts and whatever else i can get my hands on Don't have to be nice to him |

report them to paypal and fuck em
|
The guy's a punk thief. Fuck em and feed em beans. That fuck knows the content is stolen, why bother to sweet talk him. Go after him with everything you got.
|
You need to DMCA his host, and his entire upstream, even the registrar, I promise they will make him take your shit down. Then go after his paypal account, get an attorney to mail out copies on his letterhead to his home and his ISP... you get the picture ;)

In the olden days, we used to catch newsgroup posters and often able to find our who they were - a quick phone call to their home (and a chat with their Mom's while they were at school) usually done the trick. |
