I need help with a Gorilla and no I don't mean my wife
 

This guy I work with always asks me why Gorillas?
For example:

Why do have Gorillas have big fingers?

------? = cause they have big nostrils......

Yes it was stupid, so give me some I can give him that are better:)

The same reason for all (excepting negative genetic mutations) morphological differences between species.. selection pressure. Large fingers will provide some survival advantage for gorillas that they would not have had otherwise. Dunno what it is, but if you look I'm sure you'll find it.
