DOOD, if you can afford all this shit, you can afford to pay TA the lousy grand or whatever it is you owe her. Look, I consider myself to be friends and on friendly terms with both of you, but it's been over 2 months since the last big *designer* blowup here and there are STILL people waiting to be paid. Some of those people have been waiting a helluva lot longer than 2 months too..... closer to a fucking YEAR for some.


If I can afford to part with a few thousand bucks right after Christmas, why can't big professional company-running businessmen like yourselves not do the same?

I hope you guys at least contacted TA as per her request.

Neither are responding to TA's repeated messages and emails. For those that don't know, TA is a very good designer, she did work for these design brokers, and she has not been paid for that work and has been kept waiting for over 6 months now.


I'm going to be adding names and urls to my network blacklist. This is downright ignorant and unethical, and I'm through fucking around here.

Hmmm? Funny those names werent mentioned in the 'How long do you wait' Hungryman thread.

Traci Daily of liquidbydesign originally struck the deal with TA for her work, but from what I'm hearing it is Pensfan (aka Bucknaked) that has taken over management of this part of Traci's business. Teen Angel's emails are being ignored from them as well.



I can't believe that people do business this way.
Broker (hungryman, bucknaked, traci etc) get's a work order for $1000
Broker farms out the work to an actual designer for $500
Designer does work
Broker sells work to client.
Client pays $1000
Broker then does what?......... broker keeps the whole $1000?

Well, as a client you'd likely get good service and a good product. It is the designers themselves that are getting screwed over royally.



Designers, wake the fuck up and stop doing business with design brokers. It is obvious from hundreds of posts over the past 3 months that these brokers are taking credit for YOUR work and are either paying you a fraction of what your work is worth or they don't pay you at all.

Hey CD you really think Teen Angel is going to payed ? Its time to move on Shit happens and wasteing more time on this is a waste. There is a point of no return and Im not happy that TA is getting screwed she is a very nice person and dose good work but the horse is dead no use floging it. Hopefully the smart people know whats really going on and there the ones with the cash to pay.

Just had to add:

Any business that has been around more than a month should have enough money to pay for services rendered. Especially at a fucking 50% clip. I would be happy to sell a grand worth of work for $100 profit. Sounds like a great deal to me. And get this, I would pay up front to someone I trusted to do the work.

I'm not saying everyone doesn't need help from time to time. If you are having a bad month fine. FUCKING DEAL WITH IT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. Worst case, at a 50% freaking clip for doing what, next to nothing, you could have at least offered to pay half of what you owe, explain the problem, and make arrangements to pay the rest. I don't know Teen Angel but I would think she would have taken $500 up front if you had been honest about it. If she said no then too bad for you. PAY HER.

Sorry Mick, but I really don't care about wasting time. I could care less about the few minutes per post I've spent, and yes, if these people care at all about the shape of their business they will pay TA what they owe. If it were my reputation and business under this gun I certainly would have addressed this shit LONG before now. This shit came to light back in november already, and here we are well into January and it's still dragging on.


Time to give up you say? Bullshit.....I haven't even fucking begun with this.


As I said on another thread, until Teen Angel ICQ's me and tells me she IS receiving regular payments PLUS interest, I'll never let this die, I'll never stop blasting the message to designers to NOT work for these people.
