are you guys experiencing this problem at epassporte?

My client paid me at EPASSPORTE last July 15,2010 (Thursday),and on the next day I went to the nearest bank to dispense my money at atm. Sad to say I didn't got it. I talk to the bank why that happen they said that they will get the result after they do an account balancing which is on Monday. I message epassporte about this problem, they give me forms to fill up and requirements. I did not send it that time because I need the bank result about this. On Monday I got the result from the bank that they reversed the money back on the same day(which is July 16, Friday), and get a copy of that transaction. At epassporte, I send all the requirements(July 19, monday) with a copy of that transaction. they said

epass is tying up money to earn more interest. Verizon double billed me on my virtual visa card. (which also happened to another card of mine but was resolved with a simple charge back to my card same day) Epass locked up my whole account, wanted dispute papers, ID verification, CC statements (for THEIR virtual card), a photocopy of the card (duh....virtual?) and said after they reviewed all the paperwork, they would render a decision in 7-10 business days.WTF? At same time, Verizon saw their error credited my epass account back within fifteen minutes of me calling Epass. My Epass stayed locked for 7 days.

If we have not received a credit back for the transaction we will have to charge back the transaction. This should not be an issue since the ATM owner says you were right.
We have to follow Visa's rules and charge back the transaction and then the merchant have 60 days to re-presentment the transaction, if they do not do this (agreeing the CB is OK) then we will put the money back into your account.

I know its a hassle but we have to follow Visa's rules to protect ourselves and our card holders. It may seem as a hassle to everyone but there is a reason we have been in business for a long time while others have come and gone.

I find this excuse bullshit! PayPal has credited me back while on the phone with me. Netspend has credited me back while on the phone with me. Especially asking for all that documentation on my virtual card (not electron card) over a double billing. So simple to fix. Epass is scared of their own tail. :2 cents::2 cents::mad:

If we receive a credit back its automatically shows up in your account. Personally I tried to withdraw from a bank in Denmark and got no money but the money were deducted from my account, 2 days later the Pending charge were gone.
If we receive a credit back or a drop of the Pending charge then it happens automatically that the Pending charge is dropped from your account or the transaction is credited to your account.

If the transaction is showing as Pending on your statement because the merchant declined the transaction or for other reasons decided not to accept the transaction without telling us to drop the pending charge we have to hold the transaction for 30 days because according to Visa's rules the merchant have 30 days to settle the transaction after they authorize it. You local bank will drop it after a few days because they know you and are in the same country as you and if your account balance go negative they can easily come after you ass.
If we dropped Pending transactions after a few days it wouldn't take long before the scammers from some obscure country would try to capitalize on this as I mentioned above there is a reason that ePassporte is still around sometimes our rules suck but there are a reason for them for everyones sake.

Forgot sorry :s

If you see a double transaction for a virtual or Electron card transaction for the same amount in your local currency then there can be different reasons for this most likely due to currency fluctuations and one transaction should be dropped within 2-3 business days if not send me a email and I will look into it.l

Thank you for clarifying MY issue Michael. I'll keep you on speed dial for when it happens again. Plus, If I email you, I won't have to answer so many security questions? :2 cents: So far this was twice. I hate having my account frozen for a stupid double billing that can easily be resolved.

BTW, I really hate your phone reps. :upsidedow

Other than that, keep up the good work. I actually like Epass. :thumbsup
