Conference Sponsors Wanted
 

I am sure if the response for this will be positive but I hope it will be. I recently came back from Las Vegas for Desiree Alliance Conference - a world wide conference for sex workers rights movements groups or sex worker movement rights groups I am not sure the activism term for it.

but the point is that the conference lacked a lot of printed material, posted, banners, badges, wrist bands, sponsored allies, better quality of continental breakfast and lunches.

Since I have experienced attending Webmaster Access and Quebec Expo I feel that this special niche conference needs support from more resources from the sex industry so here I am posting.

I am on the planning stages of creating SWOP Canada and SWOP Toronto which is a sister chapter of SWOP-USA, SWOP Australlia SWOP (Sex Worker Outreach Project) if you are wondering Sex Workers make up of escorts/prostitutes who work indoors and on the street, porn stars, webcam models, massage parlor attendants, BDSM, Queer identified sex workers and many other sex worker allies and supporters.

I am posting here to reach out to the sex industry to see which webmaster affiliates companies and other online porn pushes not sure the word to use to include everyone would be interested in contributing something to this conference, and support groups.

You can send me an email if you have ideas of how we can make our conference better and grow so that people get the message that Sex Workers deserve and need human rights and be treated with respect and dignity.

Bump for a biz-related thread

The Organization I am founding is SWOP Canada, from the chapeters of SWOP USA and SWOP Australlia.

I am looking for supporters and donations. I am looking into making this group a non-profit organization so those who donate get a tax credit. plus other resources that need to available for sex workers in Canada, Toronto first then hopefully it will grow for across the country as SWOP chapters.

SWOP-Montreal, SWOP-Vancouver, SWOP-Edmonton and etc. I am taking baby steps to get things going by being invovled with SWOP-East and Desiree Alliance, and also still being affiliated with Maggies Toronto.

and even some of this is being funded from my own pocket. because I know its something that will be exceptional.

More details I am still in the seeding stages of my planning but the sex industry needs more community and unity.
