I think it all depends on how the economy is looking in 2012, plus who the republicans end up running. He could be in trouble, but 2 years is a long time in politics.

I don't care what he does or what the economy does, I won't vote for him again.

He's a rightist centrist, he's ignoring the fundamental problems with the country, and his primary loyalty is to the rich and the corporations.

This country is in desperate trouble, and needs a type of leadership it's not going to get. So we are all fucked.

I'd rather have the republicans in charge - at least with them you know they are going to stab america in the back and make up fake wars. They don't pretend to be anything but what they are, a pack of corporate buttboys.

There is no way he gets elected again, look at Jimmy Carters career, very similar. Better suck it up people we are about to get another Reagan in 2012.

I think this country is far past the "good/bad" indicator. There's now horrible, bad, and not THAT bad. I just don't see career politicians stepping up to actually be a good president, and career politicians are the only ones with a chance to win the presidency these days.

Each day more and more conservative senior citizens die off.

Bush won a second term, if he did, anyone can, unless they get David Petraeus to run.

We are 27 months out from the 2012 election and a lot can happen. We also don't know who the GOP is going to put up. Not to mention we may get 3rd party guy to muck things up for someone like Perot and Nader did. If look back at Reagan at this point in his 1st term he wasn't a shoo-in for re-election either. How'd that 1984 election turn out for him?

McCain was a good candidate for the Republicans but they still couldn't make it happen.

Disallusioned Dems will be looking at third party candidates that have principles like Nadar etc. If it fucks the vote up a Republican will be back in 2012 repealling all of Obama's "hard work".

Ron Paul believes gold should be money. This idea is crazy in a capitalist society, there's not enough gold that's why the banks moved to fractional reserve.

His foreign policy is about the only thing that I agree with but even that is based on a floored argument. The only reason America has a huge advantage in the world today is that they strong arm developing nations and exploit them.

If Republicans can elicit enough fear and paranoia in the voting public, and effectively obfuscate their agenda - then Obama will serve 1 term. If Democrats can elicit even more fear and paranoia about the prospect of returning to the Republican agenda, then Obama will serve 2 terms. Either way, we're fucked.
