Anyone trying to contact me at [email protected] the last month or so, my email was not forwarding..
 

I just found out after contacting my host that my email was forwarding SPORADICLY. I don't know for how long. Some goes thru, some doesnt. Great huh. So maybe I did not respond to you.

Am currently working with escrow.com and a buyer to sell a domain and one confirmation did not go thru but the other earlier ones did. Well after about pulling my hair out (and the buyer thinking I am a nut) I sent a few emails and seen it wasn't forwarding. But a day earlier it was forwarding.

The host was great and assures me all is working everytime now. I dont want to bust on them (shit happens) but thought I should post this as this is the contact for selling my domains in case anyone has tried to contact me lately. Please try again. It will work now.

So check your forwards often. This can be a real problem if it is occurring sporadicly.

Not sure how it can work "sporadically" but the host should know how the fuck to setup a simple forward.

Yep you got me too. But they say there was some kind of problem and it wont happen again.

It almost cost me a nice domain sale. If it wasnt for the fact we are going thru escrow.com they prob would have killed the deal. As it is now I had to write about 20 extra emails and hopefully they will restart the transfer process. They prob think I was stalling or something. You can imagine what a pain in the ass this has caused.

You would think it is cut and dry once set up but somehow there was a glitch. :Oh crap

Yesterday I wrote a long post busting on GoDaddy (buyer's host) as I thought they were f'n up. But I decided not to post it. Glad i didnt.

Thing is I tried the forward and it worked a few days ago. What are you to do?

Anyhow at this point for anyone reading this.. who is concerned their stuff may not be forwarding.. it was Phatservers. Great outfit. Great service. But you may want to make sure your emails are forwarding every time.

Nothing against PS but this can cause major headaches. They wrote me saying there was something fucked up (that i could not control). So this is not an error on my part. I dont know how widespread it is.
