Honesty, a 4 character domain AND the fact it spells the word tied makes that a very valuable domain.

I would hold that for a much more serious offer. I sold l8tr.com for a lot more than that. 4 characters are hard to come by...especially ones that spell real words. Even the ones that don't are worth a lot.

Shouldnt value his opinion guy is a total lowballer.
I think he offered me a trade of a worthless site, for my domain that sold for high 5 figures.

Expect $5-10k if someone has an idea for it and it has no traffic etc.

It is worth more than $1,700 and yes, I low balled my first offer.

That domain has to be marketed. It does not come with inheirited/type-in traffic...other than a few curious people and bots checking for domain availability. If it were tiedup.com or tiedowns.com then yes, but nobody types in tied.com expecting to find anything. Maybe ties.com , but not tied.com , you will have to spend money to brand that 4 letter name and that reduces it's value.

Its a four letter, actual real word. I'm thinking that $1,700 might more acurately represent the sales tax than the actual selling price.
