Any other former Yahoo profile / interests / group spammers here? Damn I have some stories.
 

It's been a long time but damn I had fun with Yahoo. I took advantage of many loopholes before people knew they existed and had software stolen that caused them to shut down entire sections of their site. :(

The only thing I never figured out was how that asshole got all of the Yahoo names that started with a capital letter and therefore showed up at at the top of every damn search. I even tried signing up with similar names on the foreign Yahoo sites but never figured it out. Regular profiles are dead, was it someone here.

I can't imagine what some of the guys running bigger operations were doing, but I had a nice little one going with three machines that brought in close to $1500 a day from dialers.

I didn't want to get greedy and ruin it by ramping it up, but it eventually slooooowed down to the point where it wasn't worth keeping up with it.

Yeah, I missed out on a shitload of money back then because I didn't know more than basic HTML. I don't know a whole lot more than that now but at least I know where to find people that do. :1orglaugh

These were straight up links to dialers. No HTML landing pages needed. :1orglaugh

From 2000 to 2005 that was the easiest money i ever made. $30k a month working 4 hours a month... The good old days:)

If you were doing any of the things I was doing I'm sorry for breaking some of them! One thing Yahoo was good as was fucking with certain things to screw you up. I never did chat but saw that it was getting killed as well. :1orglaugh
