What happens if the Aussie govt deems some of the sites I run are not suitable for the general public, and I can't access them? LOL.
I'd have to leave Australia, or get someone else to run them outside. That's fricken ridiculous.
One of my business partners in the UK quit the business over changes to the laws there requiring UK websites to have a business name, address and contact number on them (he's easily scared), as well as worrying if his sites might fall under the obscene publications act and he'd be thrown in jail.
The worst part is not that they want censorship and spy on their citizens, but they will also do it without debate and the peoples consent. "Documents on plans to store web surfing data are heavily censored due to the possibility of 'premature and unnecessary debate'".
Sounds like China.. no wait, China just allowed their people to surf porn.
crazy stuff. Let's hope this doesn't go through. I'm still an Australian citizen and I'd like to be able to move my business there when I move back one day
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
