I have seen people look right at me and not see me.

If they look at you, they see you.

Whether they consciously recognize you or not is a different story.

I'm well aware of what one vehicle can do to another. I'm simply pointing out that in that scenario: biker dies, pickup driver lives. For some bizarre reason you suggested that makes me "an idiot". I'm explaining to you why it doesn't.

It's really quite simple to not get dead on a bike, assume *everyone* is an idiot and cant see you.
