Which type of tube is the profitable one?
 

Is it possible to see some nice ratios and traffic running a tube that uses sponsor embeds, or do you really need to host the clips/videos yourself and/or allow uploads?

Maybe a mix?

I prefer a pay tube. However, I prefer the pay site (recurring. rev.) business model in general.

You can make money with either one easily enough if you know what you are doing.

Probably the model where you steal the content. Very little out of pocket expenses then.

tube scraper. no content costs and less bw costs.

Ah, I forgot about that one. Sounds like a whole different ballpark having to buy content slice videos and all of that. But yeah likely he most profitable by far.

Depends on the TYPE of scraper.

Whether you embed/hotlink, or you actually download the original clips from source.

I see an average of 1:350 to 1:400 with lite traffic, that is a legal tube using nubiles script. I would like to see my ratios with more traffic.

That sounds about right for a pay site tube.

The one I sold a few months back was around there on 500-750 UV a day, and a 50% retention. That was over 9 months or so. Some of my consulting clients are in that same ball park on their tubes. I do not think there are any over 1:1000.
