Snooker legend Alex 'Hurricane' Higgins dies at 61
 

Not sure if snooker is a world-wide game as films usually have pool instead so a lot of people may never have heard of him but he was Snooker World Champion in 1972 and 1982.

Very ill recently - this is one person where RIP really will be peaceful compared to recent times :(

Yeah saw this earlier. Sad news. :(


His life had so many up and downs. It was the downs though which took over, and sadly his last few years (or longer) weren't good for him at all.



He is a legend though, and one of snookers greats! RIP "hurricane" Higgins.

I was more of a Steve Davis fan (still am), but still, RIP to a legend.
