Anyone can give me a tip of how to open an inbox of my very old email
 

Hi guys i have an small problem maybe one of you guys can give me a little of help here

i have an email that have over 300k recived emails in the inbox since is so heavy it imposible to open anyone with a good suggestion to open it

i can open the spam folder the sent messages folders etc etc but not the inbox since is soooo full

i use ultraedit - 300k file will be no problem unless its corrupted....

i'll tell you for 200 epass.

can you give me more deatils about how ultraedit works man ¿?

what if is a very old hotmail ?¿

It's email service with web interface?

if its on your own server then ftp it, or use ssh to mv some of the files into new folders

Can you conect to it using POP3?
If so, use some easy, cheesy email program, like outlook express, eudora or the likes. Setup the POP3 account and also mark the checkbox to delete downloaded emails.

Close all other programs on your computer and restart to free up as much RAM as possible. Fire up the email client, and let it start downloading emails. It will crash/stop at some point. Then, just close the email program and open it back up again.

Wen it locks up again, do a full restart and start over. It will take some time but will be easier as you go on and the inbox shrinks.
