Exactly, unless they are lucky or someone too intelligent to be selling drugs, they are just stacking money (hopefully) to pay their bail and fines.

Source? LOL, common sense? Ok I know some people who feel they Know how to do nothing but traffic whatever anyone wants, who doesn't. I dont and have never done hard drugs or pills, used to smoke weed but stopped about a year ago.

I'm not talking only about the people who have been addicted purchasers and POS fiends for years. Right now there are pleeeenty of normal citizens who cant get prescribed to the medication they need or think they need. To sleep at night, take away their stresses, or whatever. They'll find it somewhere its not impossible.

You don't make a profit overall if you consume your own stock.

Hence my "too bad" comment in the OP. Although many of these people do consume their own product and still make a nice profit. :1orglaugh

I don't understand how anyone can buy drugs anymore and live with themselves. These days, when you buy even pot, you are usually putting money into the pockets of the very dangerous mexican cartels and this is a real threat to all Americans. It is only making them more powerful. If I still used illegal drugs, I'd have to give them up for that reason alone. Buy drugs only if you hate America.

Buying weed from a friend or someone you know with a nice stash is putting money in Mexican cartels hands? LOL, yeah ok maybe somewhere waaaaay down the line.. but c'mon now..

But I also see that the violence erupted when the Mexican government tried to
get rid of the drug cartels. They escalated the violence 1000 times more.

Like it or not, the reality is that we live in a "drug culture". When governments try to
regulate culture then violence should be expected. Alcohol was part of the European
culture held by many Americans. Prohibition only created an avenue of profit for
violent criminals like Al Capone.

And I look at crack cocaine and see the violence and deaths and after I add it
all up, it comes out to be 10,000 times less violence and death than occurs in Africa
over the diamond trade. It doesn't escape me that crack cocaine and diamonds are
both fucking rocks.

People keep buying both fucking rocks.

But conspicuously, I'm not hearing a very loud cry for the "War On Diamonds".

Interesting, yet extremely simple for the following reason :

Rich motherfuckers want their rock, and drug users want their rock too.

Rich motherfuckers are generally much more powerful than a stereotypical drug user
and therefore will continue to get their rocks with impunity no matter who the fuck
dies. And people have died in the millions for those tiny sparkling stupid fucking rocks.

Maybe if people blew their money on drugs they wouldn't have any left to buy any more
shiny fucking rocks.

OK, living in Northern Cali, I can tell you that we have some of the best weed in the world and the prices the growers have been getting is dropping due to legalization for medical marijuana, More people are growing ion their back yards and garages, so I really don't get this thread

From what I know at the moment you just walk in to a doctors office and say "hey I am depressed" with a wink and he saya "ohhhh, you need marijuana" and then you go and pick up some mj...

There you go, having the government tell the doctors who they can give presciptions to?
Would that work for other pain killers, having to go by a government code on what pills can be used, of course that could happen with the health care law as well

Well it's turned into a Marijuana discussion but I am mostly referring to other drugs like prescription medication. I think there are probably more people going around selling pills to people because 1) they might have a prescription for them so it is legal to posses them 2) they don't smell when you're driving around with them 3) they are easily hidden or disposed of (Maybe eaten? Someone is going to be really fucked up after that traffic stop :1orglaugh).

The only really dangerous thing about trafficking these pills (besides the fact the majority of dealers don't have a prescription for what they are holding) is that people will get careless with them and drop them from time to time under car seats and such, a cop finds just one of them in a search and I believe that's a felony... I've heard stories :1orglaugh

Sometimes I look at these people that are taking all these pills and wonder if it's a good thing that we are thinning the gene pool

On the different drug shows they have on History I hear the black market drug trade world wide is worth nearly a trillion dollars a year.
