MojoHost response to Corbin Fisher "press release", Dudevu Litigation
 

In response to the complaining party's news release made publicly available HERE

Dear friends, colleagues and valued customers-

It is unfortunate that Liberty Media Holdings (aka Corbin Fisher) has chosen to try this case in public, rather than in a court. When Corbin Fisher amended its lawsuit against Dudevu to include MojoHost and myself, Brad Mitchell, the very first thing our lawyers did on our behalf was ask the court for an immediate judgment in our favor. The hearing on that request will be in September. To date, we have not seen a single legally relevant document or statement that would cause us to doubt for one minute that we will not be successful in this lawsuit. This includes recent press releases and other documents that were littered with phrases such as ?If MojoHost and Mitchell are proven?, ?if emails ... are to be believed?, and ?may have controlled?. Those are all statements of opinion and speculation, not statements of fact. We trust that people will recognize spin when they read it. We stand by the statements that we have made to the court, and will do the rest of our talking about this lawsuit there ? and not in the media.

As someone who hosts at Mojo I would find it very hard to believe that they would be anything but straight shooters. I have complete confidence in both their ethical capacity as well as there competence as a host.

I am sure they will be successful in this case.

i read the emails that were submitted in the PDF they posted.... doesn't look like they have much to stand on in court. this latest PR looks too me like they are attempting to extort money by smearing people so they settle before their day in court.

maybe they are pissed they sue'd a broke loser and now need to find a way to cover atty fees?

I don't believe there is reason to wish luck here. Justice will prevail and this will be yet another learning curve in the book of Mojo.

I just hope those creating such havoc (especially on something as retarded as a forum) realize how much they jeopardize themselves in this business and act like a bunch of know it all's. (or in kiwi lingo - cunts) lol

I read the entire PDF, and from that I don't see anything showing any involvement from Mojohost other than standard hosting service. I think you guys rock, I have since the day I moved over to you and plan on staying with you as long as my site runs.

Thanks, Julius. That was a great day! I remember how funny the reactions were to me wearing a suit instead of the hand-painted shirts I am always wearing which Melissa and the kids make for me. I have dozens of such special shirts in the closet which are essentially my everyday wear. Proof positive that one can be positive, ethical, about family and still succeed in our industry.

...it's good to keep people on their toes, but I won't be wearing a suit again in August in Hollywood, Florida ever again!! LOL
