Is it still impossible to become a member of GoFuckYourself.com?
 

Last time I tried to get an account here you had to register, ICQ or email a mod (hardly on at the time) and wait for approval. Now I see that you can't even read threads unless you are logged in.

Does nobody remember why and how this forum became so popular? An influx of members, new troll accounts from old members and drama that you could link to others on the internet kept GFY fresh.

I know how bad spam can be but isn't there anything that can be done aside from making it impossible for people to participate here? It can't really be in GFY's best interest to put a fence around the site and a fat 'Keep Out' sign on the gate.

How GFY got popular? Boneprone and his crew had a lot to do with it. Tons of other adult wm forums popped up and tried to copy GFYs success. Most have died. The only wm forums that are growing are b/h

If people who sign up, are dumb enough to miss the big red letters on the confirmation page, that tells you to send a email with a answer to a few questions to admin@. Then, by all means, keep them out of this place.

I'm well aware of Boneprone and his 'crew'. Fun times were had by all, GFY was linked industry wide and everyone (well, a lot of people) were making money.

Yes, block out all of the idiots with money to spend on content, domains, scripts and everything else offered here. Those idiots that miss a notice (that wasn't there long ago btw) should not be allowed to spend their money. :1orglaugh

A lot of people will. Not many have a grasp of how things work and how money is made. That doesn't make it right. :upsidedow

Doesn't always work that way. I waited over 2 weeks with my email to admin before contacting Eric @ ICQ for him to approve.

They still manage to contact you. Member or not.

That may have been true in the past but now you can't even read a thread without being a member. I'm sure a few trickle through but this kind of shit discourages new affiliates which is what this industry thrived on. Old school fuckers do not pay you thousands of dollars to show them how to set up clip stores.

Maybe you can't read a thread in the main discussion section(s).

However, you can still read the other secondary sections without being logged in.

Nor can you google 'adult clip store' and find a result from GFY main sections. It's ridiculous.
