How many of you have taken your site/content MOBILE?
 

I've decided to make my videos available in .mp4 format so that customers can watch my videos on their ipods...I waited to go mobile as I thought that mobile devices would soon catch up with the times and be able to play all formats of video available online....That hasn't happened so I have to take the time out to re-encode all of the videos...

How many of y'all are now delivering your content in a mobile format?.....And if you're not, WHY?

Wow...So NOBODY in here has taken the time out to re-encode their videos so that they can play on Ipod's?...

It's strange, historically adult has been first-to-market with new delivery platforms. But with mobile, mainstream lead the way...

i would wait.. flash just came out from mobile phones..anyone with a sprint evo4 can watch all my videos streamin in flash without any buffreing on a 3g network, so i think mobile is catching up with pc's. within 1-2 years everyone will be on a 4g network, which is 10x faster..

Yep we have several different video formats including mobile.

After I watched one of my videos on my iphone, I was convinced...A customer can be in the bathroom at work with his phone in one hand and his dick in the other, along with some headphones plugged in for privacy...It's the PERFECT jack off tool.

There is no way in hell I'd wait 1-2 INTERNET years when I can just batch encode and reupload them to another folder on my server...Hell, I have some uploading right now while I'm sitting here scratching my nuts....It took NO work to do these.....I have had members contact me RIGHT NOW about watching my videos on their phone so I'd be a fool to ignore them...If it does nothing else, it will help retention as it's still very hard to find pirated mobile content.

I remember when I first started, my site was strictly a picture site and I was running my site basically on a dialup connection....Then one day I went over Webguy from sweetcuties.com's house and that was the first time I saw full screen porn on a screen...As soon as I got home, I bought a new computer to start editing video for the site and that saved my ass down the road...I believe the same thing will happen with mobile...

We have a mobile site. I'd almost go as far as saying if you dont have mobile access right now you are already behind.

You can't go wrong with setting up a mobile version of your site.
