I have 7,192 sites blocked in my hosts file, sure you cant me to post it lol

Gee, you think someone who would make that extensive of a list would, I dunno, learn to setup a goddamn filtering proxy instead of chewing through 8k lines every time they want to resolve something.

I can see a couple of my sites in that list :)

Like Grouchy says, why not just set up something inline to block ads.*

Big stack of things put there by Spybot-SD and only a few I have added myself which are things like livejasmin

Got Adblock Plus filtering out a lot of adverts and also doing things like stripping images from certain sites.
