So a webmaster friend of mine joined a tube to upload a video (he is the copyright holder), and was automatically registered for an account at AmateurMatch. He gave zero consent.. There was no mention of AM on the join form. He didn't find out till he checked his email later and found three welcome emails from AM.

I could be wrong here, but if everyone who joins a tube is auto signed up for cams/dating, doesn't that completely fuck over the majority of affiliates, who do not run huge tubes? Little bit of a monopoly there don't ya think?

Was it in the terms of the tube site when he joined? Like we reserve the right to share your info with third parties? Tube site members do horrible on dating sites from my exp. Also I'm pretty sure AM allows the same person with the same email addy to have multiple accounts and will pay out on the last webmaster that refered them if they upgrade.

You could say this about almost anyone with large amounts of traffic.

Anytime someone uses our API integrated within a tube site, we always express the importance of letting the users be fully aware of their free membership to Amateur Match + said tube site... otherwise it does us absolutely no good in the long run (for obvious reasons). We're not looking for that kind of unwanted traffic, if you wouldn't mind emailing me the site in question, I'd be happy to investigate further.
