WordPress Mu + Mapping Plugin + SEO
Hi People!!! how are you?
I used to use WordPress MU with great results, and I want to start it again and now I can see the Mapping Plugging. Its cool, but my question is if someone had a bad experience using MU+Mapping with SEO, Rankings, SEs Traffic, etc. I need to install +100 blogs on .coms/.nets, and of course is very hard to handle separate installs of WP, and MU+Mapping sounds cool, but I want to be sure that I will not hurt my future rankings. Any comments? Thank you Damian |
I'm not doing this imminently, but may inevitably and have the same question.
|
I use it and have good results. Some of my blogs were page 1 on google for certain search terms. Since then, I've been knocked down a few pegs, but it's all good. Nearly 100% of my traffic is organic search engine and it's al done via wordpress with no fancy tricks.
I ditched wordpress MU for wordpress 3.0 (with built in multiuser function after a couple minor tweaks). |

I think that I will need to give it a try and evaluate the results.

No problems at all here..
Only bad part of using mapping plugin + MU, is that your mapped domains are not going to have www. in front of them, but instead just youdomain.com... Althogh this won't hurt your rankings. And maybe there is some fix for it... . |
