Your nastydollars conversion ratio?
Whats your nastydollars conversion ratio for...
TGP traffic v.s. AVS traffic v.s. SE traffic |
0:0
|
1:1000 usually... TGP traffic.
Everytime I think I am going to drop them I get another sale and I put it off. I think they must read my mind and then just throw me another sale to keep me from dumping them. LOL! DH |
1:1500 with TGP traffic. Like drinkinghard said right when my traffic is dying I get sales, making me promote them a little more. The 1:1500 isnt all that bad though their site links seem to pull more traffic then most other sponsors.
|
I was doing 1:250ish with popunders, then it went south to about 1:6000 within a few months, same traffic, different surfers, I changed nothing on my end.....
Reminds me of when a partner of mine in Florida, a very short distance from Nasty Dollars HQ was pissed because his ratios dropped like mine too. He phoned them, accused them of shaving, threatened to visit them, freaked out on them, and mysteriously his conversions went up significantly, shortly after that call. Coincidence? I think not! :winkwink: I made loads of cash off of them for awhile (more then Andy Dunn was), but won't deal with them anymore. Too crooked. Too greedy. |
last period: 1:1453
this period: 1:234 something is fucked up... |

1:1160 TGP traffic for 2002
|
for me...i just started using them today
today....so far 0:549 I'll keep the thread updated, i'll be interested to see what kind of conversions i get v.s. the norm. |
I average 1:75 or so with banner traffic from my paysites...
I get more traffic from outside of the member's sections, but not sure which converts better. They need some new banners for CF and BN - I have found two for each that work really well. My ratio was fluctuating for awhile but seems steady lately... if there was any iffiness, it was consistent. |
From one of my TGPs to sponsor hosted galleries:
Last month 1:1301 So far this month: 1:1237 I'm sending them about 750 hits a day...so at the crappy ratio of 1:1500 I would get 15 sales... |
If anyone know of a sponsor with a lot of hosted/rotating galleries that converts better and has a nice payout, post here. Even 50/50 partnerships if they don't have a trial.
I have accounts with Adult Platinum, Lightspeed and Nasty Dollars. |
1:581 with tgp traffic

Kinda odd--strong start, then today nothing so far. |
TGP = 1:400
|
Some TGP traffic info: My ratio used to be 1:250, then the stats system was changed and my ratio was 1:700 for a while. After that I kind of stopped sending traffic... but the little bits that still come through suddenly convert at 1:120 this pay period... Very odd if you ask me
|
I was 1:1600 until I stop sending them traffic about 2 months ago.

overall 1:650 TGP traffic
december 1:1200 - but the quality of the traffic was lower. esp. when the CTR from the standard gallery is about 4-5%. don't forget that they have changed their click counting system. currently on the bottom of each paysite page there is an invisible image, when it loads the hit is counted (not sure about uniques or raws tho) from my experience they r counting this way about 50% of clicks sent, no offense to nastys - that's just the surfers i'm sending being that impatient tho, even with 2400 hits sent and 4-5% ratio making a sale each 7-8 gigs is okay, as long as b/w costs about .35 per gig :2 cents: |

i can't wait until someone catches them with their trousers down
it's going to happen if they keep upping the shave like this now they're counting half the clicks they were before the stats change, and converting twice as bad! unbelieveable. it's just a question of WHEN they'll be caught, personally i can't wait for the day to arrive. :2 cents: |
i can't say that it's shaving from my point of view.
some sites r overexposed to the limit, some - almost, some r rather ok. i was doing 1:1000 with one of their sites in september, 1:200 with the 2nd and 1:200 with 3rd. right now 1st one is 1:3000, 2nd - 1:1100 and the 3rd - 1:200. they r really pushed a lot, esp. with their super-aggressive referral program. right now everyone and their pets r promoting 'em, if only i (a small wm) am sending about 1000 hits a day, i can assume they r getting about few millions of hits daily and that's really a lot for 13 sites. :2 cents: p.s. don't forget about their '4 hour cancel' rule |

Spot on mate! My thoughts exactly! :thumbsup |
Like it or not some programs don't seem right. Does that mean we should drop them? Probably Not. $100 is $100 no matter how screwed you got. I have no idea what factors play into things but I have enjoyed 1:30 ratios at one site for a year then suddenly the next week it goes to 1:200. Coincidence? I think not. Same site 1 year later, held steady at 1:150. I could count on it. I knew how much I was making simply by looking at clicks. It was almost an exact sience. All of a sudden.....1:600. This will be the second week at that rate. What did 10 million people suddenly get plastered by that site the same day? I doubt it. Its already an overexposed site.
Now, I don't know if errors in their system, shaving, or whatever is to blame but it makes no sense. I have switched accounts that got credit for signups only to see the ratio drop terribly. (I know old hits converting etc. but I keep up with that) I move it back my ratios return. I truely believe everything in this world plays on numbers. (Ask casino's. They have this strategy down pat. They know how much each customer is worth on average when they walk in the door. Same with websites. They know they can pay you xxx$ per click or signup because they know exactly how many stay, their profit margin, etc.) If you get 1:50 from a certain traffic over a couple of weeks you can almost count on it later. For rates to go to shit even when hits stay exact is rediculous. I know their are just shitty weeks and these make up for the great ones we have. But when the shit hits all at once and sticks like Napalm I say something is up. But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong. |
