How can I become a domain registrar quickly?

i've been informed by a well known credit card processing company that I need to become a domain registrar or no processing

Item - Whois registrant
Comment - The Whois registrant for the site is currently listed as
DIRECTNIC, LTD. It needs to say DARK LIFE IMAGES LLC. Let us know once
this has been updated so we can submit for activation.

NO GOD FUCKING DAMMIT DIRECTNIC IS NOT THE REGISTRANT, IT IS A DOMAIN REGISTRAR!!!!

Sigh, lol.

drop your whois protection?

Sly 07-16-2010 09:11 PM

Is it showing like that as the standard registrar or because you have your information protected? You will need to release any protection before you are cleared for credit cards. You can put it back on afterwards. Or sometimes they will let you take screenshots that prove you own the domain.

Oh dear...

It's always so painful when you have to teach someone else how to do their job.

Mutt 07-16-2010 09:20 PM

I received them two days ago http://www.bratcash.com/gfy/icq_bored.gif

A credit card processing company not knowing the difference between the domain registrar and the registrant?

Which other basic things are they clueless in? :2 cents:
