    Three weeks in Japan, how much $ should I bring?

    I am going to Japan for about three weeks in 2011 with a few good friends. I don't plan on living like a king or anything, just want to eat decent food and go out every night, meet some new peoples, visit cool places etc etc. I prefer renting condo's instead of staying in hotels, and we're with the three with us so the costs would be split by 3.

    How much K should I have with me?

    Also, feel free to recommend anything fun I can do in Tokyo and surrounding areas. Resources are welcome too, I need a fuckload of sites/documentaries/movies I can check out.

      without visiting japan i know tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world.... + you guy will get the highest prices cuz you are not japanese and they are racist over there...anyway my guess is at least $5k/month

                              Tokyo is very expensive... if you're not going to be in major cities you won't need as much cash... but if you're going over there, you should definitely visit Tokyo!

                              Bring as much as you can muster... that way you've got options ;)
