Is the 10k unique or raw impressions? What are your costs? Who do you promote and the way you promote? Do you target your visitors? Are you a salesman or a hit counter? etc etc :pimp

Is this sponsor content, user content or purchased content ? Cause if you have purchased content on it you can make $$$ by putting a gateway on it using Adult Access Now

Daily average will prob be like $6 a day... so that's like a join every 3-5 days, sounds reasonable for a 10k a day tube.

I'd probably say around $500 a month unless it's something extremely unique and niched.

Adult Access Now is a crock of fucking shit you pansy. You get paid 5.25$ PPS for signing people up to 9.99$/week mobile subscriptions.

In my experience less than 5 signups a month from ads on the videopage (going to the site the video is from).
I've never used Im ads, popunders, banners for unrelated sites etc so I guess you could make more with more aggressive ads.

I dont think I would try to monetize a tube site with only 10k/day. I would spend my time trying to get more traffic. Get it to 25k/day and then monetize it. Its easier to build traffic when you dont have ads all over it.

The only way you are going to make any money on a tube site is by selling pre-paid ad spots and dating or cam banners OR advertise gambling or toys (though that won't make you much)
You ain't gonna make very much at all selling paysite memberships unfortunately.

unless the tube is some microniche, you won't make much at all, probably barely cover the hosting bill...

Yeah that's what I'm doing now.. I'm afraid to do stuff that can scare surfers away. I had an IM popup there for a little while, and the traffic went down. It may have had nothing to do with it but you never now.

I get more paysite sales from my tube than my tgp.. and both are only filled with my galleries. The traffic is the same if we look at their whole lifespan.

So if I could only grow the tube 10x bigger I could make some real cash ;)

Tubes do make money and convert pretty good.

That being said, they have pretty bad click through rates so you need massive traffic to make real money. So for a 10K/day tube with say 200 videos you are averaging 20 views per video. That's a bit oversimplified, but not far from the actual traffic you would see.

What is your tgp and what is your tube?

One of my tpg's is in my sig. My tube is the number one position if you search google for: big tit tube.

My tgp eats it for lunch on sales. It's not even close. I'm not sure what else I can do for tube sales. Everything on my tube is done by me and every description is written by hand (same as my tgp). So I'm not sure what's the deal. But since day one...the tube doesn't do shit.

Maybe your like that Feel My Tube guy and have some kind of magic touch with tube traffic that nobody else I know has?

Show me your sites, I'd like to see what they look like and if they make me want to buy a membership. :)

Edit: And please look at my tube and let me know where I'm going wrong. Everything I'm doing on there is successful for me in every other site I have. So I'm at a loss.

I'm not surprised. Your tube is pretty weak on ads. I clicked this video and the related video section only has two listed. That will hurt the stickiness A LOT.

Plus there is way too much white space on the vid page. I'm not suggesting filling it up with ads in every pixel, but there is nothing framing the video - a huge comment section with no comments (this feature is useless anyway IMO) and all you have is a simple text link above and below the video. There is no real call to action or any association between the video clip and the link - i.e. 'download this full length video here.

You really aren't trying to sell the surfer the way I see it. Again, not recommending banners and crap everywhere, but let them know what they are seeing is low res shit. The real deal is only a click away.

You can also try linking to the pornstar page with big names like Sara Jay. Hell, Brazzers lets you link right to that video. The devil is in the details.

My site is only a few weeks old and I am still expirementing with the perfect way to wrap my videos so the surfer understands what is up. Notice the download bar, top banner and a custom built ad showcasing all the sites a membership gets them into around this video.

With the tgp, the gallery is selling the site and generating the click. Your tube isn't doing that. This is just my :2 cents: and I'm a noob here, but I have studied the shit out of marketing and generating user flow on websites and that's all we're really talking about here.

Thanks for the critique. Perhaps you have a point. I've always been one to have tons of success with being subtle and not making a page too busy. But maybe with the tube I need to rethink that strategy. It sure can't hurt sales on it. lol

Depends on some things... but 10k/a day is nothing at all for a general tube site.

if it's general, you won't be making much money from it. You need to provide much more info for even a rough estimate.
