This is the letter I got:
13th July 1020
Dear Webmasters,
Due to our expensive fees we charge for traffic, our business has been on a slow decline. Last month I couldn't afford to make my house payment and bounced a few checks in my personal accounts. Because of my lack of funds, I had to draw money from business and use your funds to help pay my own bills. I froze all the accounts for well over a one month period while I sucked most of your cash out. To cover this up, I created the illusion that we were having major website technical problems so our customers would believe us and not get too upset.
If you notice, our site is back up and running, but please don't click on the withdraw page, as there are still no funds in our accounts to pay you with.
What we are doing now is trying to seduce more webmasters into purchasing traffic so we can start to rebuild our cash reserve and start paying some of the webmasters back their money, that they have been trying to withdraw for the last month or so. It's a spiral we hope to get out of soon within the next 6 months.
By having our site open now, we are giving the illusion that we are "back in business" and we are "ready to take your money again." So please, purchase more traffic from us, so one day, eventually, we might be able to pay some of our prior customers back the money we owe them. Unless of course I can't come up with enough money to pay my own bills, and if that is the case, then... YOU CAN KISS YOUR MONEY GOODBYE! |
