I'd say if the Universe is one big ocean of consciousness, the Big Bang was some sort of its self-realization, awakening moment. we may never find out what was before it or what caused it, its the same as trying to look at your life beyond moment of your birth (although self-awareness comes even couple years later after birth)

And yes, quantum evolution will take us beyond our current understanding..

I like stuff like this, but as I'm listening to this 10 minute video, a guy says "all of physical matter, everything we have around us, is a result of a frequency, and what that also means is that if you amplify the frequency, the structure of the matter will change".

Really? So if I changed the frequency of the matter of the laptop I'm looking at (whatever that means), it would morph and no longer function as the structure it was built to be? If I altered the 'frequency' of a brick wall in front of me it could cease to exist as a cement wall and I could walk through it? Umm...
