Is Mr Daizzzy a total idiot ?

Got an Email from an affiliate yesterday :

################################################## #########
Hi Marco,

I caught your program on this list (http://www.signbucksdaily.com/market...ms-no-rebills/ ) of sponsors whose CCBill settings are set to non-recurring payouts. Can you please let us know if this is true?

################################################## #########

I am stunned ! Did I set up something wrong, no complains for nearly 10 years and suddenly someone realizes it ?

I check in my CCBill settings : Nothings wrong : All my affiliates get credited for their rebills.

I write to Daizzzy asking him to remove my sites from his list. He is stating something false wich could arm my business.

The asshole doesn't want to remove it ! He ask me why he doesn't get any rebills...
I check with his CCBill ID ::

HE HAS MADE NO SALES SINCE HE SIGNED UP 1 year ago !!!!

Email exchanged with CCBIll :

################################################## ######
ME :

Hello,

I have an affiliates id 1913013 wich owns this site : http://www.signbucksdaily.com
He claims that my affiliate program 924526-0000 don't credit my affiliates for the rebills.

I did a search and the idiot didn't even do 1 single sale with my program until now.

I also took a second look at my affiliate settings and it shows clearly that my affiliates should be credited for their rebills.

Can you please take a look at my settings and assure me that everything is fine ?

Thanks,
Marco

Is the guy an asshole or simply plain stupid ?

seeandsee 07-13-2010 04:59 AM

let's hear the second side of story now, but you are right if he don't have sales he can't get rebill lol :)

iSpyCams 07-13-2010 05:19 AM

I used to think he was cool cause we hate alot of the same people, but then he went after NATS for some stupid reason and now I just think he's a clown.

It should be "(unlimited) rebills" or a number, if I'm not mistaking. Maybe he is talking about that settings and not his own sales.

Or is 0 same as unlimited?

Quagmire 07-13-2010 05:53 AM

It would be nice for someone from CCBill to pop in here and confirm/validate either side of the claim being made.

429mg 07-13-2010 05:56 AM

Recurring Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (0) rebills

If the setting above is the real ccbill setting, then I think credits for rebills are turned off indeed.

ccbill programs that offer credits on rebills, have the following setting:

Recurring Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (Unlimited) rebills

ruff 07-13-2010 06:13 AM

One thing for sure, if rebills are turned off, they had to be deliberately turned off, because they are on by default.

quantum-x 07-13-2010 06:16 AM

oo, self ownage? :D

CHMOD 07-13-2010 06:20 AM

If you read carefully my first post, I have asked CCBill to check my settings and make sure that my affiliates get credited for their rebills.

Answer was : Yes.

+

I have checked and all my affiliates earn money from their rebills.

He didn't earn anything because he made no sales at all.

Zero sales. = zero rebills.

That is about it.

incredibleworkethic 07-13-2010 06:20 AM

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Something to look into.

Actually, two things from a casual bystander.

1. CCBill didn't answer your question RE: Rebills directly.
Quote:

I have looked over your account settings and I did not find any technical issues with your account, if you wish you can have your affiliates contact us directly and we would be happy to assist you them with any questions or concerns they may have.
No where there did they mention rebills. Could be worth following up on.

2. What daizzzy actually posted, and you missed, was this part:
Quote:

Recurring Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (0) rebills
Regardless if he made 0 sales or 100 sales, that should say unlimited rebills, unless something has changed.
He's not complaining that he never made a rebill, he's pointing out that in the CCBill admin, it says that you DON'T give rebills (unless CCB has changed the format of how they display that now..)
You might want to investigate that...

Jack Sparrow 07-13-2010 06:33 AM

Daizzy is a dumb fucker on his own personal crusade. I wonder why nobody takes action for what he writes on his "blacklist".

TheDoc 07-13-2010 06:59 AM

Send him a C&D for using your trademark/copyright without permission, when he fails to take it down send it via registered mail. When that fails do the same for his host. When that fails, take the registered mail and get the courts to put an injunction against him - they will normally grant you 90 days... give that to to registrar, and the domain goes off line.

rabbit 07-13-2010 07:02 AM

seems like you're the idiot.... how many years have you been running your program without giving a single rebill to any of your affiliates?

He's just doing a slight twist on the extortion scam. He intends to get his money from people two trust him, and threaten everyone who doesn't suck his dick. He's basically a review site for the new decade.

Agent 488 07-13-2010 07:27 AM

you have a screen of the number of months it rebills?

rabbit 07-13-2010 07:36 AM

why dont you ask ccbill why your affiliates see this message in the settings for your program:

Payments for Rebills End After: (0) rebills

this means you're not paying for any rebills. there must be 2 settings for you as a webmaster, the first to enable rebills, the second to cap rebills. the above caps rebills at 0, meaning no rebills occur.

having said that, didnt you have a pps program at one point? if you do/did then that would explain the above setting

An affiliate of mine just emailed asking me why his affiliate ID number was set to "0" rebills. I was alarmed when I read this because I NEVER touch an affiliates settings... affiliates are too valuable for me. I forwarded his email to ccbill and asked them to reply to both of us. Now, less than 5 minutes later, I have their response. I am posting it here so that the rest of you can see the answer if you've had the same question in your minds:

Dear Affiliate,
_
Your account settings are currently set to pay for rebills._ I believe what you are seeing is in your affiliate admin, it lists the payout for 0 rebills, or something along those lines, correct?_ This means that you will be paid out._ If this had a number in it, that would be how many rebills you were paid for._ The 0 means infinite._ Please let me know if you have any further questions.
_

Rabbit.... open your mind here, if it could be a pps program - then he wouldn't be screwing anyone over. Chances are "much greater" that everything is perfectly fine with CHMOD's setup, however Daizzzy's system is reporting false information as usual, confusing people, it's just not nice.

Think about it, you promote the program and nobody else ever complains... yet some random guy says it's screwing people and you listen to him?

I quoted ccbill SUPPORT response. If it's wrong, then ccbill support were wrong (and affiliates have been shaved heavily in the PAST!).

thats exactly what i said in my post. yet here are the settings posted by daizzy:

>> Webmaster Program: Busty Teens Cash 50-50 (924526-0000)

clearly its not a pps program.

i promote them with 924526-0003 (different sub-account) and i can confirm that it is FINE. daizzy said the same thing. its the 0000 that is the problem

With CC Bill a webmaster can go into an individual affiliates account and edit his percentage and rebills and they will override the global settings. So if you print a screen shot of global settings it means nothing. Each affiliate webmaster can log in to their CC Bill account and check whatever program they are promoting to see if the percentage or rebills have been edited for their specific account. If they are, it has been done deliberately.

CC Bill will not notify the affiliate of any changes by the sponsor. You are responsible for monitoring your own relationship with the sponsor.

I just got off the live chat with CCBill. Here you get all the conversation :

################################################## ##########

Please wait for a site operator to respond.

You are now chatting with 'Christopher R.'

Christopher R.: thank you for contacting client support, how may I help?

marco: Hello Christopher.
Can you please tell me what it means when an affiliate sees this :

marco: Recurring Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (0) rebills

marco: Does he than get credited for his rebills ?

Christopher R.: that means the affiliate will only get the initial sale.

marco: But in my setup, I have, and I want them to get credited for the rebills

marco: In my subaccount 0000, affiliate, system setup, the option is set to recurring payment

marco: and I see that my affiliates get credited for their recurring...

Christopher R.: if you want to just do every recurring sale, set Recurring Payments to Yes, and Payment Options to No.

Christopher R.: Payment Options let you customize how many of the recurring you would pay for.

marco: where is that payment option checkbox ?

Christopher R.: inside the Affiliate Grouping you created.

marco: I can see that there are2 affiliates group - I don't remember creating them - but I can read : number of affiliates # 0

Christopher R.: you have to add them to a group, otherwise they don't belong to a group.

marco: ok. So normally, as you see my setup, should all my affiliates get credited for their rebills ? Can you tell me this ?

Christopher R.: yes, they will get credit for all recurring.

marco: Ok. If I delete the group wich I created and wich I don't use, will they then see :

marco: Recurring Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (unlimited) rebills

marco: ?

Christopher R.: correct.

marco: ok. That should then resolve my problem.

marco: Thank you very much for your time. Have a nice day :-)

Christopher R.: thank you, you do too.

################################################## ##########

End of the story.

FACTS :

1 - My affiliates get credited for all their rebills

2 - Daizzzy never made a SINGLE SALE with me and claimed something wich is false WITHOUT double checking

3 - A twist in my setup could make - at first sight - some affiliates beleive that they don't get rebills. But after a second look. 5 min of your time. It is VERY easy to see that all my affiliates get their rebills.

So... BEFORE STATING ANY FALSE INFORMATIONS, IF YOU ARE A MINIMUM PROFESSIONAL, YOU SHOULD CHECK TWICE BEFORE PSOTING SOMETHING ON YOUR SITE.

GET MY FUCKING PROGRAM OFF YOUR BLACK LIST.
Anyway, if you don't , you'll have to deal with the consequences.

Looks like our Latino friend had too much rice and beans today. He sure is making a lot of stink over some shitty site that has no affiliates.

erooup 07-13-2010 08:50 AM

It dont make any sence if CCbill have this as the default setting
"Recurring Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (0) rebills"

... If it means the affiliates wont get credit for the sale, even when the Recurring Payment is set to "yes". I dont belive that is the case.

That might be the case if they get a fixed amount for the first signup, and then a %share for the rebills. But this is a revshare setup as default.

That is why the CCbill rep said "if you want to just do every recurring sale, set Recurring Payments to Yes, and Payment Options to No" (as he have it now)

Half of you have no fucking clue how CCBill configs work.

How are anyone supposed to know when even the CCBill supporters are telling different things? That is much more serious issue than this single drama (no fense!).

Some paysite may believe they configured it correctly, then get accused - or false accusations against correct settings. Some may pull their links because they thought it "didn't" convert with rebills, when in fact it actually did.
No one will gain from that and in the end, I would rather blame CCBill for this confusion. They should make it crystal clear in their help section what the different values mean, but that is non-existant (at least for affiliates). There should also be notifications to everyone when a change is made and history logs of ALL changes. With 100s of affiliate programs, it is almost impossible to keep track manually. Then we can move on and do what we do best, selling subscriptions. Or not :)

MrDeiz 07-13-2010 09:28 AM

btw. just for the record. who of those idiots which posted against me still think that data aren't accurate?

actually 70% of the heat on me comes from those who whether didn't get into situation or have no idea what the talk is all about. it is what gfy is all about

let me repeat it again. i have no idea to do any bad thing to anyone. i'm interested in working affiliate model, where i'm a part of it. i got some serious tools and try to make good things to get that working affiliate model of business where everyone does his job and noone is cheated.

I read this thread and had a quick look through my ccbill sponsors and found this shit.

Payout Percent: 0.00%
Signup Date: 05/07/2009 Payout Flat-Rate: $0.01
Trial Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (Zero) rebills Recurring Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (Zero)

ccbill said they switched processors .. grrrr nice for them to tell me...

While i was talking to them I asked about the "Recurring Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (0) rebills"

they said YES you only get paid for the initial signup NO RE-BILLS...

From what I have seen, proof wise... you were wrong yet again by posting the information you did. Your software failed, - again - to correctly identify a problem but rater created drama. If it was about helping our Industry, you would be in private talks with programs and ccbill.... it's not about that though, it's about drama b.s. creating page views and exposure!

That's the point....
