Inmate Sneaks Camera Inside Prison, Films For 6 Months
And HBO is showing it July 14, at least that's what I hear.
|
This should be more interesting than the Oz series, because it is more true to real life. You say a real inmate filmed footage, right?

i dont get how he managed to charge the battery all the time?
do they have power sockets? |
Looks cool,I'm tuning in to watch
|
It's hard to believe an inmate could smuggle in a video camera and use it for six months undetected.
How does he charge the battery and what and where did he save the recorded video on? How come the guards don't find it during searches? How come nobody sees him using it? Watching the actual footage will help in telling if it's 100% legit or was allowed. Either way it looks like it will be interesting to watch. |
Think a guard smuggled it in? I don't imagine that camera would fit up his ass.
Looks like a good movie, I'll have to try and check it out. |

Yes, they do. Most prisons allow inmates to have TVs, radios, etc. |
why is their a subliminal of a chick? spreading her ass at 2:31?

Yeah, that's definitely not staged. :eek7
|
Much of what's on TV, including premium channels, is staged to some degree.
Even shows marketed as showing reality events, often don't - prime example is TruTV's Operation Repo - most of it is acted NOT real. Something marketed as a documentary doesn't mean it's totally real either; justification for changing details, reenacting, embellishing, etc is that such programs are for entertainment. PBS is much better, especially for its nature / science related documentaries, but even there they take some artistic license so to speak - not all is what it appears. Rambling on, but anyways, such "sneaked" prison camera footage is likely fake and/or so edited as to not reflect the true reality. Producers will typically require that everyone interviewed / individually portrayed, as opposed to a crowd shot, to sign releases - that further limits what and how events will be portrayed. Ron |
@ Ron ... I don't think so in this case. I think we are going to see some things that wouldn't otherwise be known on the outside world.
|
I can't wait to see it, it should be very interesting!

This is going to be some good tv :thumbsup ....although im sure nothing we havent already heard about that goes on in prison will be seen..drugs,violence,corruption etc....as far as abuse by gaurds go..i can only speak for myself and say that if some inmate threw his own feces(shit) in my face ..10 bucks an hour and a 401k aint stoppin me from busting his kneecaps with my baton..and im sure the guy thrown the shit would do the same or worse if it was him J/S

Can't be on HBO
I just checked online tv guide, went to HBO.com and looked on my TIVO scheduler but nothing that even remotely resembles this documentary is airing this week. Do you have anymore info? Was it possibly another channel? |
|
hbo.com lists it on HBO2
|
what a fake shit, that is not some mini spy cam, its the fucking CAM CODER!
|
it said in IMDB that a gaurd or 2 was paid off to get it smuggled in
