Is there anything out there better for making thumbnail galleries in WordPress than UUGallery?

The built-in gallery builder for WordPress is the best. All you need is the right theme to produce amazing galleries.

UUGallery duplicating all my files and renaming them is a pain in the ass.

have you tried NextGEN plugin?

IrfanView is a good program to crop thumbs, rotate photos, resize photos, adjust colors, sharpen, blur, etc.

no, you're wrong. i spoke to the owner recently and those are things he's going to fix in future updates.

if you have all your photo galleries and videos on your server and when adding a gallery you tell it UUgallery where to get the files, when it produces a new gallery it duplicates your files (for some reason).

I just use next-gen and have had good results.

can you embed video files with NextGen?
