Anyone have some numbers on signups for trials vs 1 months vs multiple months?

My rebills are great so I'm wondering if I should add these or not..

I've had 3 month subscription options for years. It's a small percentage that use it but that percentage increases when you don't offer a trial.

Hm, so would you say it's usually more profitable to remove trials and insert the 3 month subscriptions, even though you will probably lose signup totals, or better to have both, or leave the 3 month stuff out and hope they stay for 3+ months at the regular rate?

That would be correct.

You would probably be best seeing what works best for your site and your traffic. I've seen it work better under each circumstance for different sites.

Trial or not, I think leaving the long-term option is a good idea. More people sign up for those then you would imagine. Just like the full month subscriptions, a lot of people sign up for those. Higher percentage than what many would think.

Plus unless your cross selling trials are mostly a waste of time IMO anyway. Monthly sales rebill MUCH better and 3 month sales rebill that much again better.

I have a 3 month in addition to the trial... Unless you can honestly say that your earnings per member are in the $70+ region, you'll benefit from a big price point like that. Your longer term members will cancel and rejoin under the biggest price point, which isn't a bad thing IMO.

I've had a member signed up for an $80 yearly membership just a few days ago

We have occasional members join for our $69.95 recurring for 3months & $75 for 90day non recurring option.

i have reasonably priced 2 month and 3 month options and i almost guarantee that my solo girl site does more of them than any other solo site. 39 bucks and change for 60 days and 49 bucks and change for 90 days.

I get them 80+% of the time on Islanddollars sites for some reason, but on other sites it really rare. But with island most of my signup are 3 months in advance :)

Alot depends on how you present it to the surfer to.

if you show them the options on on default nats drop down chances are you are not going to get many going for it
