Best font color/size for black background?
 

Opinions...i know that is not best color for background but its a must with a theme design i recently tried. Seems plain white sometimes is hard to read...thoughts thanks.

Black backgrounds chase surfers away. If you gotta have it though any light (very) pastel is good.

Black backgrounds annoy the shit out of me!

I have vision issues which make it very difficult for me to read anything on a black background and the absolute worst is red text on a black background.

A white background is the absolute best!

pornhub has a dark background have alot of srfers...

for me white is too much light and so on...

I would go with rounder font families. Like Verdana, Tahoma, or Arial / Narrow. And go with a off-white (like a white but slightly grey) like an f0f0f0.

This would look good. In fact I use it myself.

i like #DADADA sometimes.

White, silver maybe a light blue. Yellow & orange looks great. You can also get a nice feel from some reds, but dont be too over zealous with the red or it begins to hurt the eyes :thumbsup


I do not know where the green came from with Agent488... Unless it was a deep dark British Racing green, but then it would not really stand out. :2 cents:
