There's this contraption called an "air conditioner", I suggest you google it before moving.

I'm glad you guys are in the heat... I've lived near the beach in SoCal for almost 20 years, and this is the coldest summer I've ever seen. Temperatures for the last several days have been in the mid 60's. Even Porn Valley was only mid 70's today, I think... it's usually close to 100F there at this time of year.

rowan 07-07-2010 10:31 PM

Melbourne Australia gets a couple of days with outside temps in the high 40s each year (115F+), but that's your INSIDE temp? You need some insulation/airflow/air conditioning pronto

sounds like you need to knock some walls down and get rid of insulation! Was 87f at it's hottest today when I was working. That kinda sucked.

ToBad 07-08-2010 02:27 AM

I have 31C or 88F in my apartment. Thats rely hot for stockholm. I guess we normally have this hot only 4 days in a year. Not even the half-naked girls sunbathing outside my window dryers excite me. It just that hot here.

seeandsee 07-08-2010 02:30 AM

A/C or die, nothing else

aleck 07-08-2010 02:32 AM

Are your electricity tariffs too high for A/C, guys? Can't imagine working without one during the summer.

Zyber 07-08-2010 03:18 AM

That is very hot. I wonder if your computers are able to work in such room temperatures. Good luck

AC is expensive. It's needed for maybe 2 weeks a year in Vancouver. I just cant justify the expense of central air. I do have a portable air conditioner tho. If one room is 85, the room with the AC will be 75. It's beautiful :D

punkpred 07-08-2010 04:30 AM

My house is crap but i have AC installed. Its not that common in the UK to have homes with AC already built in.

ottopottomouse 07-08-2010 04:45 AM

Say's 28°C here and feels a bit cold after having said 33 for over a week.

Damn straight
I may just have to take you up on that soon, or Golf

Elli 07-08-2010 06:45 PM

Ugh so hot. We bought a bunch of fans before Cambodian Tire ran out, but still, they're just moving the hot air around. My little temp reader is out on the deck right now and says it's 33.3C. Inside it was 29. And that's at 6:30pm!

Jon Oso 07-08-2010 09:24 PM

It was in the 110s outside earlier I'm sure... a brisk 71 in my condo.

*edit* looks like it hit 112 today.
