Why the fuck is my Iphone telling me "Its needs to cool down"

are you charging it? if everything is normal, heard it's just a faulty battery or something

Mine did that when i left it in the car, fixed itself after I cooled it down

That's a 4 right? I have a 3g and it gets pretty hot if I'm talking for 20+ mins or watching a long video.

yeah same thing.. left it in car on another hot day like today and when i got back in.. it had shutdown and gave that msg. Left it nn the dash with a/c running and was alright after 20mins

In the iPhone's defense, it has been unseasonably hot the last couple of days.

Motherboard failure is next Juicy, take it in to the Apple store and have them do some tests to make sure that is not the case. It would be a shame to lose all your contacts if the MB fries.

everything is backed up via itunes

Evrything is backed up so if it fries its under warranty so far today so good but as mentioned its been africa hot here last few days

Hold it with and oven mitt and you will solve 2 problems,Hot phone+signal loss.:thumbsup
